At the reception, Savannakhet provincial governor Santiphab Phomvihane thanked for warm welcome of the Party Committee and People of Quang Binh province, and congratulated on Mr. Hoang Dang Quang's reelection to Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

He also briefly informed of the obtained results in the process of socio-economic development of Savannakhet province and hoped that the friendly and cooperative relation between the two provinces in particular and the two nations in general would be further boosted.

On behalf of provincial leader, Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Hoang Dang Quang extended his thanks for the best wishes of Savannakhet provincial governor Santiphab Phomvihane and provided some information on potentials and strengths as well as achievements in economic, cultural - social development, cooperation and investment, etc.

He affirmed that in the past time, the two provinces have effectively implemented the signed cooperation agreement and expressed his gratitude to the Party Committee and People of the Lao ethnic clans, including Savannakhet for the assistance in seeking and removing remains of Vietnamese martyrs who sacrificed in Laos.

In addition, Secretary Hoang Dang Quang expressed his hope that the Party Committee and authority of Savannakhet province would continue creating all favorable conditions for Vietnamese people in general and Quang Binh people in particular to live in the locality, contributing to developing the special friendly relation between the two provinces of Quang Binh and Savannakhet in particular, Vietnam and Laos in general to a new height.
