Chairman of the Quang Binh provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Hoai visits the Quang Binh - Khammouane Friendship School

Quang Binh - Khammouane Friendship School in Thakhek town was started construction from 2009 (former called NaBo Primary School), aiming to educate and train students from pre-school level to secondary school level. Currently, the school has 51 teachers with 923 students, of which Vietnamese students account for over 50%.

With a financial support of Quang Binh province, this educational establishment contributed to strengthening solidarity and traditional friendship, expanding cultural exchanges, education and training between the two provinces.

Implementing cooperative programme on education and training, Quang Binh province continues receiving the training of students from Khammouane province to study at Quang Binh University, gives a support of construction of the technical and vocational training school, classrooms at the Quang Binh - Khammouane Friendship School, etc.

On this occasion, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai presented three sets of laptop to the school in order to serve the teaching and studying.
The Association of Vietnamese residents in Khammouane province currently has nearly 430 households. With the support of local authorities, the people's life have basically stabilized and directed toward the fartherland.

At the visits, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly evaluated the efforts made by teachers and students of the Quang Binh - Khammouane Friendship School in teaching and studying. He hoped that the school will be twined with an educational establishment in Dong Hoi city to share experience in teaching and studying.

In addition, Chairman also acknowledged the spirit of solidarity of the Association of Vietnamese residents in Khammouane province hoping that the people would promote special relations between the two States and two nations in gerneral, Quang Binh province and Khammouane province in particular.
