On behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his appreciation and deep gratitude to the noble sentiment that Cuba has given to Vietnam’s people in general and Quang Binh in particular during the years of the hardest and the most fierce war. He also informed the Cuban delegation about some achievements in the fields of economy, culture and society of the province over the last time, and also clearly stated the situation and results of cooperation between Cuba and Quang Binh in health care. Accordingly, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hoped that, in the coming time, Cuban Minister of Health and Cuban Ambassador in Vietnam will continue to be a bridge to help Quang Binh have more Cuban experts come to work in order to create conditions for the provincial health sector to develop comprehensively, especially in specialized fields.

At the meeting, Cuban Deputy Minister of Health thanked the warm welcome and sincere sentiments of the Vietnamese Party, State and People for the Cuban People, and also congratulated the achievements that Quang Binh obtained in recent years. Cuban Deputy Minister of Health also affirmed that in the coming time, Cuban Ministry of Health will promote cooperation with Quang Binh province in the following areas: Building a pilot model of family doctor at Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital in Dong Hoi; opening a training center for specialized doctors; forming training linkage between Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital in Dong Hoi with a prestigious medical facility of Cuba and continue to send Cuban medical experts to work at the hospital ...
