Keeping folk melodies alive amid Truong Son mountains
As evening descends on the Truong Son range, the community cultural house in hamlet 6, Lao Bao commune, Quang Tri province, comes alive with the familiar sounds of traditional instruments Bru–Van Kieu folk songs. In this setting, Ho Van Mang, patiently guiding each lyric, note and rhythm, has become a familiar figure to generations of local youth.
