Quang Tri strengthens fight against IUU fishing
Quang Tri Border Guard currently manages and protects more than 191 km of coastline and six kilometres of shoreline around Con Co Special Zone, overseeing over 28,000 square km of sea area. With more than 8,000 fishing vessels in the province, coastal posts have stepped up measures to engage fishermen and patrol fishing grounds, aiming to prevent illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing.
