Quang Binh: 211 disadvantaged pupils given scholarships and bicycles
Tuoi Tre Online - The Study Promotion Society of Quang Binh province and East-West Organization has just awarded 211 scholarships of Spell to poor pupils in three communes of Phuc Trach, Lam Trach and Xuan Trach (Bo Trach district, Quang Binh province).
Each scholarship is worth VND 500.000 - 700.000, including: books, uniforms and schoolthings. As for secondary pupils who are far 3km from their house to school have been granted a bicycle per person. In addition, these pupils have also financed fees and health insurance cards.
In the coming time, pupils in districts of Le Thuy, Minh Hoa and Tuyen Hoa will be also given this scholarship with total money of VND 750 million and 186 bicycles.
