Minh Hoa district has 53 small and medium-sized projects under the Poverty Reduction Project for Central region
The project also contributes to poverty reduction for residents in mountainous communes and improving the community health and environmental condition.
In Quang Binh, 53 small and medium-sized projects financed by the Poverty Reduction Project for Central region has been being carried out in Minh Hoa district. Of which, 15 projects were completed and put into use. Total invested capital is estimated at VND 14,264 million.
At present, 38 projects are being executed with total invested capital of VND 13,007 million. Besides, the project has been studying, designing and establishing investment procedures to quickly deploy the implementation of other 43 projects in late 2007 and early 2008. Total invested capital for these projects is estimated at over VND 27,550 million. Especially, 5 upgraded irrigational works will meet the need for irrigation in agricultural production.
