Attending the working was Provincial Committee of the Party Temporary Secretary, Provincial People's Council Chairman Luong Ngoc Binh; Provincial People's Committee Chairman Phan Lam Phuong; Provincial People's Committee Vice-chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai and the related departments and branches.

At the working, Chairman Phan Lam Phuong reported to the Minister the situation of the socio-economic development in 2007, the plan in 2008 and the obtained results in the first three months of this year, the work of fight against bird flu and the effort to repair agricultural production after the long spell of cold weather.

Addressing the working, Minister Cao Duc Phat stressed the importance of local cadres in directing and supervising the fight against bird flu. He also asked the provincial leaders, especially agricultural leader need to arrange the seasonal schedule and varieties for Spring-autumn crop. With regard to the province's petitions, Minister Cao Duc Phat recorded and promised that he will consider and assist the province in development.
