Provincial People's Committee listens to report on detailed plan for clinker production plant and resettlement area in Van Hoa commune

(Quang Binh Website) - In the afternoon of October 23 2008, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to hear the report on detailed Plan for the clinker production Plant and resettlement area in Van Hoa commune, Tuyen Hoa district. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Lam Phuong presided over the meeting.

Attending the meeting were representatives of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, departments and branches, related districts and communes.

At the meeting, delegates listened to representative of investor reporting on construction of the clinker production Plant in Ha Trang hamlet, Van Hoa commune in the past time, of which focusing on compensation and site clearance, propagation of building the plant and preliminary master plan for resettlement area. The meeting also heard the discussions of representative of related services and units. Most of them highly agreed to the policy of the Standing People's Committee and the approval of the Prime Minister on master plan for building the cement Plant.

Addressing the meeting, Chairman Phan Lam Phuong applauded investor, services, branches and related localities in actively implementing the policy of the Standing People's Committee and People's Committee on building the clinker production Plant in Van Hoa commune. The project's steering board should assign specific tasks to its members; strengthen settlement of problems and propagation of building the plant. He also unanimously approved site for building resettlement area in Van Hoa commune, ensuring essential infrastructure such as electricity, water, school and social welfare projects... Chairman Phan Lam Phuong asked investor to co-ordinate with related services and units to urgently complete the necessary procedures to hold the ground-breaking ceremony of building the plant in the end of November or early December 2008.
