Press conference to prepare for the 14th session of the 15th Provincial People's Council

(Quang Binh Website) - On December 1 2008, the Provincial Standing People’s Council held a press conference to propagandize the contents and agenda for the 14th session of the 15th Provincial People’s Council. Mr. Luong Van Luyen, standing member of the Provincial People’s Council presided over the press conference.

Attending the press conference were representative of departments and branches, reporters of central and local press agencies based in the provincial area.

The 14th session of the 15th Provincial People's Council will be taken place from December 08 to 11 2008. At this session, the Provincial People’s Council will listen and discuss 23 reports and vote to approve 11 drafts resolution. In the period of taking place the session, Quang Binh Newspaper will has responsibility to post up information on the session's content, questions of delegates, answers of competent departments and branches; petitions of voters; obtained results, shortcomings and solutions for implementing targets for the province's socio-economic development. The Quang Binh Television Station will take responsibility for directly broadcasting the session's contents. After closing the session, the press agencies will continue to propagandize on the session's results.

At the press conference, representative of press agencies discussed and put forward with the Provincial Standing People's Council some contents to well prepare for the session, namely focusing on propaganda of the province's socio-economic results in 2008, Resolution of the Provincial People's Council, results of voter contact and patriotic emulation movement in all fields, concurrently quickly providing information on the session to serve for propaganda.

Addressing the press conference, Mr. Luong Van Luyen highly evaluated the role of press agencies in the propaganda for the session of the Provincial People's Council, concurrently asked press agencies to continuously propagandize and post up all activities relating to the session.
