Provincial People’s Committee working with IDICO

Vietnam Urban and Industrial Zone Development Investment Corporation (IDICO) is a State Corporation under Ministry of Construction. IDICO has played a major role in the construction and economic development of Vietnam. IDICO has subsidiaries companies operating in provinces and cities such as: Dong Nai, Ba Ria Vung Tau, Long An, Can Tho, Quang Ngai, Ho Chi Minh, Ha Noi, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh... With the motto “Investment for development”, IDICO have invested and developed projects of industrial zones, urban and residential area, resort, hotel, construction material production, BOT transport, hydropower plant and constructed many high-value projects.

The goal of the working session is that IDICO wishes to cooperate with Quang Binh province to invest and develop medium and small-sized hydroelectric plants; build the Ba Don byway connecting the National Road No.1A with the road No.12A and other projects. IDICO wants the province to create favorable conditions for the Corporation to quickly carry out the projects, ensuring the requirements and progress as scheduled.

Addressing at the working, Chairman Phan Lam Phuong applauded and advocated investment and cooperation of IDICO and stressed that the investment of IDICO in Quang Binh province plays an important role, is a step to attract other investors and promote the development of local industry. He asked investor to reconsider investment projects in accordance with the province’s situation, concurrently carry out construction of Gianh river cement plant for second phase as soon as possible, meeting the demand of consumption nationwide.
