As estimated, consumer price index in 2nd quarter of 2009 will increase
Knowing that, the situation of price, commodities and consumption service in March of 2009 and in the 1st quarter has remained stably. The consumer price index in March of 2009 fell by 0.16% compared with last month but increased by 203% compared with December of 2008. In ten groups of commodities, the group of house, electricity and construction materials increased by 0.66% because of the increase of electricity prices as from March 1 2009; the group of commodities and service increased by 1.61% due to the high increase of domestic gold price; some commodities like food, clothing, hat and footwear; equipments and household appliances; medicine and health service; transport, post and telecommunications; culture, recreation and tourism increased inconsiderably or decreased.
