Vietnamese ambassador to Saudi Arabia visits and works at Quang Binh

(Quang Binh Website) - Vietnamese ambassador to Saudi Arabia Dao Thanh Chung paid a visit and had a working session with Quang Binh on June 16 2009. Receiving and working with Ambassador was Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Lam Phuong and representatives of related departments and branches.

At the working, Ambassador Dao Thanh Chung reported to Chairman Phan Lam Phuong on political relation and economic cooperation between Vietnam and Saudi Arabia. Accordingly, Saudi Arabia will officially name Vietnam in the list of strategic alliance on oil and gas. In the forthcoming time, two sides will establish an Enterprise Committee to further boost cooperation between Vietnam, Saudi Arabia and other countries. On the side of Saudi Arabia, it will create favorable condition for Vietnamese enterprises to contact and exchange with Arabia counterparts in the field of oil and gas, industry, agriculture, investment and labor. Ambassador also encouraged Vietnamese enterprises in general and Quang Binh in particular in taking an initiative in joining international fairs to introduce products in Saudi Arabia and to popularize the province’s potentials and strengths in order to promote economic cooperation.

Chairman Phan Lam Phuong informed of the situation of socio-economic development of the province and hoped that in the coming time, cooperative relationship between Quang Binh and Saudi Arabia will be further boosted, contributing to develop the province’s economy.

Under the plan, Ambassador together with his delegation will pay a visit to famous relics and landscapes of Quang Binh like: Phong Nha Cave, Mooc Water Spring, Bang Hot Spring, House of General Vo Nguyen Giap and Da Nhay Beach...
