WB to add $29.5 million to Dong Hoi City Environmental Sanitation Project
During two days of May 5 and 6, the WB's mission made an inspection tour about the implementation of Dong Hoi city environmental sanitation project, of which focusing on accessing the implementation process of the project, work of reimbursement and contract packages. The mission also carried out a survey of some projects like Nam Ly lake, Ly Trach pumping ground and so on.
At the working session, representative of WB informed Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee that WB has decided to pump $29.5 million into environmental sanitation project in Dong Hoi city, raising a total source of capital up to $60 million. Under the plan, the agreement will be inked in the middle of May 2011 and come into force in August 2011.
Two sides also exchanged and discussed obtained results and difficulties in the process of implementing the environmental sanitation project in Dong Hoi city to accelerate the progress of implementation, striving to reimburse about $17.5 million in 2011.
Speaking at the working session, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai pledged that Quang Binh province will promote the progress of implementation and reimbursement of the environmental sanitation project in Dong Hoi city.
