Investment Newspaper: grant 40 scholarships to poor and outstanding pupils in Le Thuy district

(Quang Binh Website) - The Investment Newspaper in coordination with the Thien Tam Fund of the Vincom Joint-stock Company on September 19 granted 40 scholarships to poor and outstanding pupils of Le Thuy district and a computer room to the Phong Thuy Secondary School, Le Thuy district. Attending the ceremony was Vice-chairperson of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Tien Dung; Editor-in-chief of the Investment Newspaper Nguyen Anh Tuan and Director of the Vincom Joint-stock Company Le Khac Hiep.

At the ceremony, representative of the Investment Newspaper granted 40 scholarships, worth VND500,000 each to poor and outstanding pupils of Le Thuy district with a total value of VND20 million. The Vincom Joint-stock Company presented a computer room with a total value of VND70 million to the Phong Thuy Secondary School, Le Thuy district.

This is an annual activity of the Investment Newspaper and some businesses to create favorable condition for poor and outstanding pupils in provinces and cities across the country to learn about information technology and help them overcome difficulties in their life to gain high achievements in studying.

Addressing the ceremony, Vice-chairperson Tran Tien Dung expressed his gratitude to the assistance of the Investment Newspaper and the Vincom Joint-stock Company. He extended his hope that the receivers would uphold the tradition of learning to achieve better academic results, contributing to building Quang Binh motherland become more and more prosperous.
