Provincial People's Committee works with the Second Rural Energy Project Management Board
The working session was attended by representatives of the Departments of Industry and Trade, Planning and Investment, and Finance; Bank for Development - Quang Binh Branch; Quang Binh Electricity Company and Office of the Provincial People's Committee.
The Quang Binh REII project has a total investment of VND188.2 billion with 506.960 kilometers of low voltage line. The project has so far completed the first phase and is carrying out the second phase with the aim of upgrading and building the low voltage grid in 30 communes of five districts of Le Thuy, Quang Binh, Quang Trach, Bo Trach and Tuyen Hoa.
Addressing the working session, PPC Permanent Vice-chairman applauded the efforts made by the Project Management Board over the past time and affirmed that the completion of the project's first phase contributed to perfecting system of infrastructures in rural areas, improving the spiritual and material life for the people and promoting the province's socio-economic development.
In order to effectively carry out the second phase of the project, Vice-chairman ordered that the Project Management Board should closely coordinate with relevant agencies and units to solve difficulties in the process of implementing the project and create favorable conditions for contractors to complete the project as scheduled plan.
