Attending the meeting was PPC Vice Chairman Tran Van Tuan, representatives of relevant departments namely Planning and Investment, Finance, Transport, Construction and Resources and Environment; leaders of the PPC Secretariat and the Office of Dong Hoi City.

The project of building Nhat Le 2 bridge in Dong Hoi city has a total investment of over 936 billion VND. Once being completed, the project will contribute to improving the system of coastal road, promoting socio-economic and tourism development of the province and ensuring national defense and security as well as traffic network of Dong Hoi city.

At the meeting, delegates spent much time to discuss and contribute many important ideas in order to speed up the project implementation progress.

Speaking at the meeting, PPC Chairman stressed the importance of building Nhat Le 2 bridge linking Bao Ninh commune and Dong Hoi city to socio-economic development of the province.

Chairman also asked relevant agencies and localities to have a close coordination to accelerate the project implementation progress, ensuring that the project will be inaugurated on the occasion of the Independence Day (September 2, 2012).

Also at the meeting, the provincial leaders discussed about the implementation of the project on building a 60m long road in Bao Ninh commune, Dong Hoi city and some issues relating to capital construction.
