Attending the meeting, there was Mr. Tran Tien Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of line departments and typical businesses in the province.

At the meeting, a representative of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade briefly informed of natural conditions and socio-economic development situation as well as potentials and advantages of the province like Hon La economic zone, Road 12A and world natural heritage, Phong Nha - Ke Bang national park. Especially, the Department also introduced a list of projects calling investment in infrastructure, trade and tourism development, construction of industrial parks and agricultural production, and the investment preferential policies for economic zones and industrial parks in the province.

On behalf of the Khon Kaen province's delegation, Chairman of the Board of Trade expressed her desires to seek opportunities for cooperation and investment in all fields and hoped that the province will continue creating favorable conditions to help Khon Kaen province become the 10th member of the submit of the provinces of Vietnam, Laos and Thailand using Road No.8 and No.12.

Participations also spent much time to discuss on making full use of the Road No.12 which is spanned Huu Nghi III Bridge connecting Thailand, Laos and Vietnam with the aim of promoting socio-economic growth of each country and developing friendly and cooperative relationship between Quang Binh and Khon Kaen in particular, Quang Binh and Thailand's provinces in general to a new height.

Addressing the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee applauded the visit of delegation of Khon Kaen province to Quang Binh province and expressed his hope that in the future, two provinces will better strengthen cooperation and investment in all fields, contributing to improving the efficiency of investment activities between businesses of two provinces.
