On the second day of working, deputies continued discussion on task implementation in the first half of the year and solutions for task implementation in the second half of 2013; reports and statements presented at the session and the first-ever vote of confidence for 14 key posts elected and approved by the 16th provincial People's Council. The results of the vote of confidence will be publicized at the session's third working day.

Also on this second day of working, deputies also listened to the provincial National Assembly Delegation to report on the results of the 5th session of the 13th National Assembly.

In discussion, deputies highly agreed to the reports and statements presented at the session and made a great contribution with a focus on solving difficulties for enterprises, providing enterprises with an investment assistant in production and business; developing trade name, improving the quality of products, applying scientific advances into production; arranging human resources for building new rural area; improving the quality of education at all levels and vocational training; speeding up the progress of site clearance and implementing key projects in the province and so on.

National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu speaks at the session

Delivering a speech at the session, National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu praised the great efforts and remarkable results that Quang Binh province obtained in the first half of 2013 and expressed his hope that this session would take effective measures to help the province overcome shortcomings, striving to complete the scheduled targets and plans.

With regard to key tasks in the forthcoming time, National Assembly Vice Chairman asked the province to focus on effectively implementing socio-economic targets; taking solutions to solve difficulties for enterprises; improving the quality of tourism and speeding up administrative reform.

National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu also stressed the importance of the vote of confidence for key positions elected and approved by the 16th provincial People's Council and asked the provincial People's Council to conduct the vote of confidence according to the regulations, ensuring publicity, justice and democracy.
