The 410th anniversary of establishment of Quang Binh province is a great social and political event of Quang Binh province. This is an opportunity for young generation to express the tradition "when drinking water, remember its source" to the forefathers who had the merit of founding and defending our country.

The event is also a good opportunity to introduce and spread the potential and advantages of the province in all fields, contributing to promoting socio-economic development, culture and tourism, and building Quang Binh province to become more and more prosperous.

Under the plan, the anniversary will held in April of 2014 with a series of activities such as book publishing entitled "Quang Binh - the 410-year history of establishment and development"; a contest named "Learning about the 410-year history of establishment of Quang Binh province and an exhibition on socio-economic achievements of Quang Binh province with the theme entitled "Quang Binh - 25 years after reestablishment day", etc.

In addition, the steering board will organize propaganda on the media with the aim of respecting traditional values of history, culture and revolution of Quang Binh and reviewing great achievements obtained in the process of building, defending and developing the fatherland during the renovation period.
