The delegation was attended by Mr. Luong Ngoc Binh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Hoang Dang Quang, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Mr. Nguyen Huu Hoai, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and other members.

At the conference on investment promotion, Secretary Luong Ngoc Binh reported on potentials and strengths, investment incentive policy and projects calling for investment in the 2014-2015 period and following years with a focus on the potentials for tourism development, especially cave tourism and forest ecotourism.

He stressed that Quang Binh is the rendezvous of natural, social, cultural and economic conditions of the North and the South, has a long cultural history. This area of "scared land and talent people" has generated pre-eminent figures such as royal mandarin Nguyen Huu Canh, General Vo Nguyen Giap and many outstanding people who had a great contribution to the national revolution. Quang Binh is home to regilious relics and well-known places such as Truong Son legendary road, Heaven Gate, Khe Gat, Tam Co Cave, Xuan Son ferry, Long Dai ferry and so on.

Recently, Quang Binh in Vietnam ranked 8th in the list of 52 places to go in 2014 and was at the top of Asian destinations in 2014, according to the New York Times. This is a remarkable acknowledgment to Quang Binh tourism in the forthcoming time.

In addition, the province also focused on calling for investment in 21 key projects, especially tourist projects such as Phong Nha - Ke Bang, Son Doong Cave, Da Nhay - Ba Trai tourist area and Hai Ninh golf course, etc.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Tran Bac Ha, Chairman of Board of Directors of the Joint-stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV) highly evaluated potentials and advantages of Quang Binh land to economic development, especially tourism, saying that BIDV will call upon and provide a capital support for big companies and corporations to invest in development of cave tourism, materials for garment and rubber planting.

The senior delegation of Quang Binh province also had a meeting with the Da Nang Party Committee to exchange views on investment attraction and urban management.
Receiving and working with the delegation, there were Mr. Tran Tho, Secretary of Da Nang Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council; Mr. Vo Cong Tri, Standing Deputy Secretary of Da Nang Party Committee; Mr. Van Huu Chien, Deputy Secretary of Da Nang Party Committee, Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee and other members.

At the meeting, senior leaders of two sides applauded socio-economic achievements that each side obtained in the past time and exchanged views on urban management, policy for talent attraction, administrative reform, site clearance, compensation and investment attraction.

Two sides discussed and agreed on mutual assistance in personnel organization, experience exchange on socio-economic development and tourism cooperation with a focus on implementation of "A journey - many destinations" programme to promote tourism connection between two provinces.

On behalf of provincial leader, Secretary Luong Ngoc Binh expressed his thank to the Party, authority and people of Da Nang city for assistance to Quang Binh people in the last storm No.10&11.
