The ceremony was attended by Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Hoang Dang Quang; Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Tien Dung and representatives of related agencies.

In the solemn atmosphere at the ceremony, provincial leaders reviewed glorious tradition and great achievements that the Party and people obtained during 70 years of building, defending and developing the country, especially giving prominence to the important role of General Vo Nguyen Giap in the August Revolution of 1945.

Provincial leaders burnt incense in commemoration of General Vo Nguyen Giap

At the ceremony, provincial leaders laid a wreath and burnt incense at the grave of General Vo Nguyen Giap and spent a minute silence in commemoration of General Vo Nguyen Giap, an excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh, a commader-in-chief of the Vietnam People’s Army, a brilliant person of the nation and Quang Binh land.
