Provide more than 290 tons of rice to students in difficult areas
Accordingly, 290,340 kg of rice will be provided to 4,839 students of day-boarding schools, mostly from ethnic minority groups in remote areas sharing difficult socio-economic conditions.
Specifically, 57,540 kg of rice will be granted to 959 students of five schools in Le Thuy district; 36,000 kg to 600 students of five schools in Quang Ninh district; 104,520 kg to 1,742 students of 24 schools in Bo Trach district and 92,280 kg to 1,538 students of 15 schools in Minh Hoa district.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned to the Department of Education and Training to coordinate with the Department of Binh Tri Thien National Reserve and the People's Committee of Minh Hoa, Bo Trach, Quang Ninh and Le Thuy districts to timely allocate rice to students in accordance with the State's regulation.
