At the signing ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee applauded Mr. Park Seung Woo, President, Co-CEO of DOHWA of Corporation, South Korea for his working visit to Quang Binh to review the results of cooperation agreement, which was signed by Quang Binh and DOHWA Corporation in November of 2010, aiming to construct infrastructures and develop local economy. He affirmed in the past time, two sides have focused on implementation of committed contents and initially achieved some acknowledged results. He hoped that DOHWA Corporation would continue to learn about the projects calling for investment in Quang Binh province.

Signing ceremony of Memmorandum of Understanding

At the signing ceremony, two sides signed a Memmorandum of Understanding to continue cooperation on infrastructure construction, renewable energy and contract on land lease for the DOHWA-funded project at Hon La Industrial Park.

Then, the Provincial People's Committee granted Certificate of Investment Registration, License for Business Registration and Decision on land lease for the DOHWA-funded project at Hon La Industrial Park. The project will be expected to consume 300,000 m3 of forest wood with a total investment of VND240 billion, attracting about 200 local laborers. The project will start in the third quarter of 2016 and put into operation by the end of 2017.

Speaking at the working session, President/Co-CEO of DOHWA Corporation, South Korea Park Seung Woo thanked for warm welcome of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and related agencies to the delegation. On behalf of DOHWA Corporation, Mr. Park Seung Woo highly evaluated cooperation results between Quang Binh and DOHWA Corporation and promised to effectively implement the energy project at Hon La Industrial Park.
