Miss Grand International 2017 is scheduled to take place in the three Vietnamese provinces of Quang Binh, Thua Thien-Hue and Kien Giang from October 5 to 26, attracting participants from 80-90 countries across the world.

Accordingly, Quang Binh province is chosen to host the the national costume round of Miss Grand International 2017 from October 15-19.

After the site survey, the Organizing Board of Miss Grand International 2017 decided to choose Thien Duong Cave to host the national costume round of Miss Grand International 2017 which will live broadcast in the world.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Tran Tien Dung affirmed that the potential of Quang Binh is the cave. The live broadcast of Miss Grand Interntional 2017 at Thien Duong Cave will a good opportunity to spread Quang Binh image to international friends.

On the side of Quang Binh province, provincial authorities will direct related agencies and units in collaboration with the Organizing Board to successfully organize the national costume round of Miss Grand Interntional 2017 in Quang Binh.

Reportedly, this will be the second time that Vietnam has been chosen to host an international beauty pageant, having hosted the Miss Universe Pageant in 2008.

Miss Grand International is among the five largest beauty contests in the world. During the contest, the participants often visit and support war-affected children; join other charity activities and contribute to efforts for peace.

The competition includes swimsuit and national costume performance; preliminary round and final round.
