Quang Binh approves project on General Vo Nguyen Giap statue construction
Accordingly, the project has a total area of 2.3 hectares with a total investment of approximately VND65 billion from source of State budget and other legal capital mobilization.
The project is located in the intersection at the five-way crossroads between the 36m road and Vo Nguyen Giap road in Bao Ninh commune, Dong Hoi city.
Duration for the project is expected to last from 2018-2020.
Construction of General Vo Nguyen Giap statue and park aims to commemorate great contributions of General Vo Nguyen Giap to the cause of national liberation.
This is a symbol of community culture for local people and tourists to visit and relax; it is also a place where takes place a series of outdoor cultural activities of Dong Hoi city and Quang Binh province.
