Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presided over the meeting

At the meeting, leader of the project management unit briefly reported on implementing the urban infrastructure and environmental development project to cope with climate change in Dong Hoi city (loans from the Asian Development Bank - ADB) and the coastal sustainable environmental project - Dong Hoi subproject (loans from the World Bank - WB).

So far, the two projects have had enough conditions to allocate medium-term capital for the 2018-2020 period and in 2018.

In order to ensure the progress of completion in 2017, the project management unit has hired consultants to work out the project, carried out design and estimate, verified design and estimate, measured cadastral map and conducted site clearance, etc.

The source of capital for the two projects in 2017 is estmated at VND 75.4 billion. So far, corresponding capital for the two projects is VND 39.9 billion.

At the meeting, delegates discussed many measures to solve difficulties in the implementation of procedures such as allocation of corresponding capital, compensation for site clearances, signing additional agreements, etc.

Closing at the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyen Xuan Quang asked the related parties and the project management unit to have a close collaboration in the implementation of the projects, aiming to improve the project's efficiency.

With the respect to site clearance, the project management unit should conduct site clearances in line with the regulations, propagandize and explain for the people about the projects' benefits.

In addition, Standing Vice Chairman assigned the Department of Planning and Investment to adjust the projects' components in accordance to the real situation, etc.
