Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee asked Bo Trach district to receive an aid from the Roots of Peace-funded project of giving cattle for farmers in accordance with State regulations on managing and using foreign non-governmental aids and other rules; coordinate with the Department of Planning and Investment and related units to implement procedures for project approval.

Knownly, Roots of Peace is an US's non-governmental organisation which was issued certificate of operational registration in the provinces of Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Quang Nam by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Its objective is to give a support for people to improve income through the project of sustainable agricultural development for the beneficiaries from the provincial level to district and commune levels.

Operating in Vietnam since 2010, in the past time, Roots of Peace has made many efforts in enhancing the role of economic life for people living in the landmine-contaminated areas.
