Quang Ninh District: Food output achieves 40,910 tons, up to 3.2% compared with same period
(Quang Binh Website) - This year, Quang Ninh district carried out food production with the area of 8,207.6 ha, district’s food output achieved VND40,910 tons, increased 3.2% compared with the same period.
Of which, area under cultivation was 7,232 ha, reached 39,820 tons, increased 2.2% against the same period and up to 3.7% compared with the set target. In Spring-autumn crop alone, rice production achieved 47.82 quintal/ha, gross output reached 11,822 tons. Of which, regenerated rice achieved 344 tons with the total area of 544 ha. Besides, other plants such as potato, cassava and diverse vegetables and bean... also achieved high production.
