Receiving and working with the Cuban delegation were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Minh Ngan together with representatives of the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the talk, Cuban ambassador Herminio López Díaz sincerely thanked provincial leaders for a warm reception and expressed his joy and admiration for the significant socio-economic achievements of Vietnam in general and those of Quang Binh province in particular.

The Cuban diplomat affirmed his role as a bridge to connect Cuba and Vietnam as well as Cuba and Quang Binh province. He also hoped to strengthen cooperation in all fields of economy - society and political security, especially health.

For his part, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee applauded the working visit of the Cuban ambassador and thanked for great supports and good sentiments of the Party and people of Cuba to Vietnam, especially Quang Binh people.

Vice Chairman also hoped that Cuba would continue to help the province train human resources with high quality in health, contributing to improving quality of medical exammination and treatment in the Vietnam - Cuba Dong Hoi Friendship Hospital. He believed that the Friendship relation and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries would develop to a new height.

Earlier, the Cuban delegation paid a visit to Vietnam - Cuba Dong Hoi Friendship Hospital and then offered incense to General Vo Nguyen Giap's grave in Vung Chua, Quang Trach district.
