Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Le Minh Ngan attends opening ceremony of Lao Tourism Year 2018 in Khammouane province
(Quang Binh Portal) - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People"s Committee Le Minh Ngan led Quang Binh province"s delegation attended an opening ceremony of the Lao Tourism Year 2018 in Khammouane province on January 25th.
The opening ceremony was taken place in the joyful and exciting atmosphere at Sikhottabong pagoda, Thakhek district, Khammouane province.
In the framework of the opening ceremony in Khammouane, the Sikhottabong pagoda festival and a commodity exhibition fair were also organised with the aim of promoting tourism and displaying local products.
This was an important activity to promote tourism development, preserve specific values, good manners and customs of Lao people as well as boost cooperative relations and friendship between the countries, cultural exchanges and tourism connection between Laos and the countries in the area and the world.
