BA TRAI - DA NHAY MULTI-FUNCTIONAL TOURISM RESORT COMPLEX 

1. Location of the project

- It belongs to the administrative region of Thanh Trach and Hai Trach communes (Bo Trach district), located on the National Road No. 1A from Ha Noi to Ho Chi Minh city.

- 25 km away from Dong Hoi city on the North along the National Road No. 1A; 30 km away from Phong Nha - Ke Bang World Heritage Site on the Southeast.

- Bordering the East Sea on the East;

- Bordering high mountains through the sea on the West and the South.

- Bordering a vacant land area of Thanh Trach commune along National Road No. 1A on the North.

2. Objectives of the project

- Build the tourism center in the form of an international-level recreational area. Develop a big-scale regional tourism center based on diversified natural resources of mountain and beach. ..

- Diversify tourism sectors; raise capacity of attracting domestic and foreign tourists. Create motivation for provincial tourism development.

- Attract foreign investment capital, make a breakthrough in tourism, raise economic growth rate, economic restructuring and contribute  to achieving socio-economic development targets of the province by 2020 and after 2020.

3. Scale of the project

Total land area: 500 ha, including :

- Da Nhay area with a total area of more than 250 ha (belongs to the administrative region of Thanh Trach and Hai Trach communes, Bo Trach district, along the National Road No. 1A from Ha Noi to Ho Chi Minh city);

- Ba Trai area with a total area of over 250 - 300 ha (belongs to the administrative region of Ha Trach commune, Bo Trach district along the road from Da Nhay to Phong Nha - Ke Bang).

Orientation for functional areas:

It is expected to build the following functional areas:

- Outdoor recreational area:

+ Mini golf course (9 holes)

+ Area for raising pets outdoors

+ Some outdoor sports and games

- Construct the high-grade accommodation facilities:

+ 4-5 star hotel with 500 – 1000 rooms.

+ High-grade villa system

- Commercial services area:

+ Supper market system

+ Food area and other services.

+ Indoor cultural activities….

+ Village market for purchasing traditional local products.

- Construct beach park

- Yacht port: including 5 main items (Item 1: A system of private resorts along the beach and island; Item 2: A factory for assembling and repairing yacht; Items 3: A school for training human resource on maritime and yacht ; Item 4: Port and club of international yacht center; Item 5: A logistics center (Petrol station, minimarket, restaurant, bar, foodstuff).

6. Expected effectiveness of the project

- Bring high profits for investors.

- Take advantage of the tourism potentials of the province, create jobs for local people, attract tourists to the province, and contribute to the provincial socio-economic development and tax revenunes. 

7. Natural conditions and current situations

Topography:

- Mountains running to the sea create beautiful landscapes, including:

+ Da Nhay area has diversified terrain including: mountainous and sand for planting pine and casuarinas…

+ Ba Trai area is located on hilly area with pine forest and Vuc Sanh lake, creating a beautiful scenery.

- A large space with diversified and clear terrain offers good conditions for arranging functional areas in the tourism complex.

- There is no production land; pine forest and mountains are mainly, it is easy to convert to other land uses as required.

- Coastal area with strong wind intensity is convenient for constructing wind power system to meet the demand of electricity on the spot and the whole region.

Technical infrastructure:

- Traffic system, including seaway, roadway, railway and airway is convenient

- Currently, there are the National Road No. 1A, Provincial Road No. 2B and 15 KV electric network across the project area.
