A ribbon-cutting ceremony of Trung Quan Bridge

The event was attended by Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Luong Ngoc Binh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Dang Quang, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Hoai and representatives of departments and branches.

Started construction in August 2010, the Trung Quan Bridge was built with a total investment of VND125 billion from the source of the government's bonds by the Department of Transport.

The bridge is 310 meters long, 9 meters wide. The main section of the bridge has nine spans with 33 meters long each.

Construction of Trung Quan bridge meets the desires of people in Quang Ninh district in particular and Quang Binh province in general. Once being put into operation, it will delete boat stations on Kien Giang and Long Dai Rivers, contribute to rescue work in the rain season and meet the demand for travelling of local people.

In the furture, Trung Quan bridge will play an important role in linking the National Road 1A with Ho Chi Minh road and the National Road 9B to Viet-Lao borderline through Chut Mut La Von border gate. This will be a drinving force to promote economic, cultural and social development, ensure national defence and security in the region in particular and Quang Binh province in general.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee speaks at the opening ceremony

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai praised the great efforts made by investors, localities and units to complete the Trung Quan Bridge project on schedule, saying it would help facilitate transportation and promote economic development in the western region of Quang Ninh and Le Thuy districts.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee grants Certificate of Merit to excellent collectives and individuals

On this occasion, Chairman of provincial People's Committee granted Certificate of Merit to three collectives and four individuals for their efforts in implementing the Trung Quan Bridge.
