Incense-offering ceremony at Ba Doc Martyrs' Cemetery to mark the Vietnamese People's Army Day
(Quang Binh Website) - The Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee; provincial-level departments, localities and armed forces on December 21 held an incense-offering ceremony at the Ba Doc Martyrs' Cemetery (Bo Trach district) to mark the 68th anniversary of the Vietnamese People's Army Day (December 22, 1944) and 23rd anniversary of the Whole People's Defence Festive Day.
In a solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, provincial leaders rang the bell, laid a wreath of flowers and offered incenses in memory of heroic martyrs who had sacrificed their lives and contributed to the service of the nation during the past struggle for national independence and freedom.
After that, provincial leaders burnt incense at martyrs' tombs to express their gratitude.
