Cooperative agreement on building Hon La thermo-electric plant with its capacity of 2,400MW
After a survey of field work, the Vietnam Electricity Corporation and Ha Thanh Securities Company are estimated to invest the construction of the 2,400MW Hon La thermo-electric plant with its invested capital of US$2.4bil; construction of a large-sized golf court in Dong Hoi airport or Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park with its area from 150 to 300 hectares; construction of five-star hotel complexes in Bao Ninh commune (Dong Hoi), etc.
At the working, Chairman Phan Lam Phuong welcomed the investment and cooperation of the Vietnam Electricity Corporation and Ha Thanh Securities Company, concurrently proposed the Vietnam Electricity Corporation to promote the project progress and put it into use as soon as possible and promised that the province will create favorable conditions to quickly implement the project, meeting the people's need of electricity more and more increasingly.
