Three wonders of Vietnam jumps to top in world wonders voting
To date, the ranking list has acknowledged an obvious advance of Fansipan Mountain Peak from the fifth place to the third while the country’s two other beauty spots - Ha Long Bay, Phong Nha - Ke Bang have always stood in the top-ten list of the voting among over 200 candidates from all parts of the world.
The results of voting for three wonders of Vietnam shows the great efforts in propaganda for voting of three wonders of Vietnam inside and outside the country.
A lot of chances are coming to the wonders of Vietnam. Many websites of domestic organizations, local authorities, electronic newspapers, blog, electronic forums of young people have actively responded the vote for the heritages of Vietnam as the new natural wonders of the world.
The first phase will close in August 8, 2008 to pick out 77 best favourites. The second phase will select 21 sites of the most votes while the final phase will name the best seven among the 21 candidates.
