The session was attended by Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Cong Cuoc; Vices-chairperson; leader of specialized departments and branches under the City People's Committee; chairman of the People's Committee of communes and wards.

On basis of implementing the guidelines and resolutions of the Central Committee and the province, the 12th session of the nineteenth Dong Hoi city People's Council will comprehensively evaluate the implementation of Resolution of the People's Council on socio-economic development, state budget revenues, national defence - security and execution of law in the first six months of 2008; consider and approve budget balance of 2007; deeply analyse the causes leading to shortcomings in implementing; discuss and put forward solutions to implement the success of the plan 2008. The session held on July 15-16 2008 will approve the operation report in the first six months of the People's Council, the People's Procuracy and the People's Court of the City; listen the report of the Standing Committee of the City People's Council; report of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front of the City on building the government; appraisement report of two departments of the People's Council; report on solutions to curb inflation; consider reports on solving and responding the ideas of voters before the 12th session of the City People's Council.

The session will spend more time for questions of delegates and answers of competent authorities and conclusion of chairman of the session on solving the petitions of voters.
