The People's Council of Le Thuy district has just convened 11th session, term XVIII.

At the session, delegates were listened to report on activities of the District People's Council in the first six months and its tasks in the second six months of 2008; report on socio-economic situation, national defence and security, in association with socio-economic development programs in the first six months; report on State budget receipts and expenses in the first six months and tasks in the second six months of 2008; report on the total budget balance of locality in 2007; report on land use situation from early 2007 to first six months of 2008 and plan for land use of 2009; report on separating and merging departments and divisions according to Decree No.14/BD-CP and Decision No.532/QD-UBND; report on answering voter's questions and complaints relating to the border of two communes of Ngu Thuy Bac and Ngu Thuy Trung…

The session also approved two Resolutions, namely Resolution on continuously implementing tasks for socio-economic development and security - national defence of the district in 2008 and Resolution on approving the local budget balance in 2007.
