Provide relief in urgent for people in Quang Binh
(Quang Binh Website) - In the afternoon of October 3, Ho Chi Minh Red Cross supported in urgent VND100 million and 3 tons of rice for poor people in Quang Binh province who were effected by the 7th storm. Through Quang Binh Red Cross, all donation and relief goods will be handed over directly to poor people in the latest time.
According to statistics from the Central Committee for Storm and Flood Control, Storm No.7 left 12 people dead (of which seven deaths in Quang Binh, three in Ha Tinh and two in Quang Tri), five missing (of which one in Quang Binh and four in Thanh Hoa) and 13 injured. 25 houses were collapsed or been swept away and 6,462 houses were flooded out and destroyed. 45 fishing boats were sunk or damaged seriously.
