Receiving and working with representative of the French Electricity Group EDF in Vietnam was Permanent Vice-chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Hoai and representative of related agencies and units.

At the working, Vice-chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai expressed his pleasure to welcome the French Electricity Group EDF in Vietnam to Quang Binh, and briefly introduced about the Quang Trach Electricity Center and Hon La Seaport. He asserted that this is a key project of the province, so the French Electricity Group EDF in Vietnam should research and agree with the Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation about the plan so that the project is carried out as scheduled.

Mr Olivier Flambard, Chief of the French Electricity Group EDF in Vietnam also briefly introduced about the French Electricity Group EDF and expressed that his visit's goal to Quang Binh is to learn about the investment and development capacity of Quang Trach project, invested by the Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation.

Then, Vice-chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai and Mr Olivier Flambard had a talk about some issues relating to investment in the coal thermo-electric Center in Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district.

It is known that Mr Olivier Flambard, Chief of the French Electricity Group EDF in Vietnam will carry out a survey in Quang Trach at the same day.
