Provincial leaders offer incense at Ba Doc martyrs' cemetery

(Quang Binh Website) - On the occasion of the 64th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day (September 2) and the 40th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh’s testament, on September 1st morning, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People’s Council, People’s Committee and the Provincial Committee for Vietnamese Fatherland Front; leaders of departments, branches and unions at the provincial level offered incense and laid a wreath in commemoration of heroic martyrs at the Ba Doc martyrs' cemetery, Bo Trach district.

After a minute’s silence in memory of heroic martyrs, the delegation burnt incense at tombs. Ba Doc martyrs’ cemetery, the largest one in Quang Binh province, gathers remains of hundreds of martyrs who laid down their lives in the battlefields nationwide during the years of the anti-American resistance war and Vietnamese voluntary experts sacrificed in Laos.

This was an opportunity to commemorate heroes who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, concurrently to educate revolutionary tradition for the people, especially for young generation.
