At the talk, two sides evaluated the obtained results of implementing a cooperation agreement that two provinces of Quang Binh and Savannakhet signed in 2008. From October 2008 to now, two provinces strengthened cooperative relations between the Parties, governments and organizations; increase the effectiveness of economic cooperation in the fields of investment promotion, trade, tourism, education, national defence and security.

After listening to the contributions from delegates, two provinces proposed orientations for cooperation in the coming time. Giving a closing speech at the talk, Secretary Luong Ngoc Binh highly appraised obtained results in cooperative relation between Quang Binh and Savannakhet in the past time, especially the gained achievements in a cooperation agreement signed between two provinces in 2008. Secretary Luong Ngoc Binh also expressed his hope that in the forthcoming time, two sides should make efforts to further boost friendly ties to jointly deal with general issues, and take full advantage of available potentials and strengths of each province to cooperate and develop together.

Signing cooperation agreement between two provinces of Quang Binh and Savannakhet

In the fame work of working visit to Quang Binh province, the high-ranking delegation of Savannakhet province paid a visit to the Viet Trung Rubber Company and Dong Hoi Airport. In the morning of November 4 2009, the high-ranking delegation of Savannakhet will end the working visit to Quang Binh province.
