In the second working day, the session spent much time to listen 18 ideas and contributions of delegates and representatives of departments and branches. The ideas mainly focused on some issues relating to agricultural development, budget revenue and spending, social policies, reimbursement of capital investment, construction of housing for workers and land policy for poor and near-poor people and so on.

Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council presents flower to congratulate Commander Nguyen Van Hieu

At the session, the provincial People’s Council dismissed Mr Nguyen Quoc Tri from the position of member of the Provincial People’s Committee for the term 2004-2011 and additionally elected Mr Nguyen Van Hieu, Commander of the Provincial Military Headquarters as a fresh member of the Provincial People’s Committee for the term 2004-2011.

On the same day, representatives of departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, Planning - Investment, Health, Electricity, Education - Training and Transportation directly answered questions of delegates and petitions of voters.

Tomorrow, July 9th, the 21st session of the 15th provincial People’s Council entered its final working day.
