Provincial People’s Committee distributes 1,380 tons of rice from Prime Minister as famine relief to help people on the occasion of Lunar New Year and between-crop period of 2011
(Quang Binh Website) – On March 8, the Provincial People’s Committee signed the Decision No.453/QD-UBND granting 1,380 tons of rice from the Prime Minister as famine relief to help people on the occasion of the Lunar New Year and between-crop period of 2011.
Accordingly, 1,380 tons of rice (a total of the rest rice) is granted to people in six districts of Quang Binh province, of which 300 tons to Quang Trach district, 200 tons to Minh Hoa district, 280 tons to Bo Trach district, 200 tons to Tuyen Hoa district, 300 tons to Le Thuy district and 100 tons to Quang Ninh district.
The Provincial People’s Committee requests the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to chair and coordinate with the State Reserve in Binh Tri Thien region and the People’s Committees of districts to use the granted rice to support poor people properly and promptly in line with purposes and regulations.
