Provincial People's Committee: discuss measures to promote the reimbursement of investment capital

(Quang Binh Website) - On April 22, the provincial People's Committee (PPC) held a meeting to discuss measures to promote the reimbursement of investment capital. Chairman of PPC Nguyen Huu Hoai presided over the meeting. Attending the meeting was representatives of departments and branches, units and localities concerned.

In the past time, a lot of positive changes have been seen in capital investment, achieving VND314.67 billion, equaling to 20.3% compared to the estimate. Rate of reimbursement of investment capital achieved 26.2% of the estimate, in which the reimbursed projects reached 36.1%; rate of reimbursement of capital from Central budget reached 28.3% and that from local budget reached 25.1%, etc.

At the meeting, delegates spent much time to discuss measures to improve the quality of reimbursement of investment capital in the next time, in which concentrating on the issues like evaluation of the capacity of consultative units; measures for site clearance; capital allocation for some projects, etc.

Addressing the meeting, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai highly valued obtained results in the reimbursement of investment capital in the first three months, and straightly put forward some shortcomings to overcome difficulties, contributing to promote the reimbursement of investment capital for projects.

Chairman ordered that all agencies and localities concerned should focus on taking drastic measures to speed up reimbursement of investment capital; promptly completing procedures to implement eight projects in flood-stricken routes; closely managing the issuance of business registration license; speeding up site clearance, etc.

Chairman stressed that all agencies and localities need cut down source of capital to the projects which are very slow in implementation and reimbursement process; give the capital priority to ODA projects and key projects.
