The master plan on construction of Quang Binh province up to 2030 includes principal contents such as spatial structure for urban areas, development of population, construction of regional development model, building spatial structure for industry, tourism, system of social infrastructure and residential sites in rural areas, industrial parks, economic zones and tourist sites, contributing to speeding up the socio-economic growth towards sustainable development.

As the plan, duration for completing dossier of master plan is twelve months as from the date of signing the contact. As estimated, total investment is VND2,147,498,000.

The master plan has an important significance to mapping out key investment projects, developing economic zones, industrial parks, large urban areas and tourist areas, promoting economic development in rural areas in association with the province's socio-economic development, ensuring security and national defence and managing construction investment in the province.

At the meeting, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai basically agreed to the master plan and stressed that the master plan should pay attention to sustainable tourism development, especially cavern system in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park region; focusing on development of Hon La economic zone and sea-based economy.
