Quang Binh responds to World Environment Day and Vietnam Sea and Island Week 2012

With the 2012 theme to be "Green Economy: Does it include you?", the World Environment Day and Vietnam Sea and Island Week 2012 raise the role and responsibility of each organization and individual to building a green economy towards sustainable development and environmental preservation.
The event is a chance to make both youth union members and people more fully aware of the role and importance of seas and islands in the country’s socio-economic development and sovereignty protection; respect the values of ocean to the life of human kind and highlight the necessity of environmental protection.
The activities also aim to associate socio-economic development targets with environmental protection for a green - clean - beautiful environment.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman highly appreciated achievements obtained in environmental protection over the past time and emphasized the role and importance of youth union members to building a green economy towards sustainable development.
