Total turnover from economic zones and industrial parks in October reached over VND134 billion
(Quang Binh Website) - According to information from the Management Board of Economic Zone, a total turnover from businesses in the economic zones (EZs) and industrial parks (IPs) in October was estimated at over VND134 billion, reaching 102% against the same period last year; import-export value reached USD30.6 million.
Cha Lo International Border Gate Economic Zone alone reached USD27.6 million with 85,685 tons of goods, 2,740 vehicles and 22,252 people for exit-entry. The businesses in EZs and IPs paid nearly VND11 billion in taxes.
Products are mainly manufactured in the EZs and IPs, including pulp, shirt, tuynel brick, NPK fertilizer, fresh water, carton bag and building stone.
In the future, the Management Board of Economic Zone will continue taking drastic measures to solve difficulties for businesses; renovating method of investment promotion and strengthening administrative reform with the aim of improving the quality of production and business activities in the EZs and IPs.
