The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tien Dung and representatives of relevant agencies and units.

On behalf of provincial leader, Secretary Luong Ngoc Binh briefly presented the Hessen State's mission of natural conditions and advantages of the province in socio-economic development. He stressed that there is great potential for development of the province, so he expressed his hope that WUS will give a priority to scholarship programme for outstanding students and create condition for students and teachers of the province to study and improve their professional skills in Germany; open a training course in German language with a high quality in Quang Binh university; select Quang Binh to build an automobile assembly line for Vietnam market.

Secretary Luong Ngoc Binh believed that the relationship between two countries in general, Hessen State and Quang Binh province in particular would develop to a new height.

In response, President of the World University Service of Germany (WUS) Kambiz Ghawami also informed the province of advantages of the Hessen State and Germany and committed that the WUS would create conditions to assist and strengthen cooperation with Quang Binh province in the coming time.
