Children in flood-hit localities receive help
Doan Mau Diep, Deputy Minister of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the National Fund for Vietnamese Children and donors presented relief supplies worth VND 300 million to children in Quang Trach and Bo Trach districts and Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh Province, devastated by recent Storms No. 9 and No. 10.
Earlier, the National Fund for Vietnamese Children presented VND 100 million and VND 50 million to kindergartens in Hoang Mai township (Nghe An Province) and Quang Tri Province, respectively, to help them overcome the consequences of the two storms.
The proceedings from AIA Vietnam Life Insurance Company Ltd., Thakral Group, and the National Fund for Vietnamese Children are also used to buy milk and study equipment for students in flood-hit localities.
